Softball Recap: Florence Township Memorial Comes Up Short

The Florence Township Memorial Flashes didn't have quite enough to beat the Gloucester City Lions on Monday and fell 4-3. The Flashes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florence Township Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Gloucester City, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Florence Township Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Riverside on the 20th. As for Gloucester City, they have also already played their next match, a 6-5 win against Haddon Township on the 20th.
