Baseball Recap: John Glenn Comes Up Short

John Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Licking Valley Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Little Muskies of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Owen Edwards made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Howard, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

John Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Licking Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

John Glenn will square off against Maysville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Licking Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
