Soccer Recap: The Gregory School Comes Up Short

The Gregory School's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Benson Bobcats by a score of 3-2. The Gregory School have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Amay Munjal wasn't going to let Benson walk away unscathed as he scored both of The Gregory School's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

The Gregory School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Benson, their win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Gregory School will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Augustine Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Benson, they will welcome Lourdes Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
