Volleyball Recap: Bellevue Eagles vs. Forestburg Longhorns
After flying high against Gold-Burg last Friday, Bellevue came back down to earth. The Bellevue Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forestburg Longhorns on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bellevue started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-14.
Bellevue's loss dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Forestburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Prairie Valley the next time they take the court. Bellevue will head out to face Prairie Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Forestburg will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
