Football Game Preview: KIPP College Prep Panthers vs. KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs

The KIPP College Prep Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

KIPP College Prep is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Digital Pioneers Academy, who was ranked 12th at the time (KIPP College Prep was ranked 16th). The Panthers were outmatched by the Pythons and fell 36-0. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, KIPP DC Legacy College Prep's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They never let Richard Wright Public Charter School get on the board and left with a 52-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

KIPP DC Legacy College Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for KIPP College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

KIPP College Prep was taken down by KIPP DC Legacy College Prep 35-6 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
