After a string of three wins, South Webster's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies.

South Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Jackson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Looking ahead, South Webster will head out to square off against Southeastern at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson, they have already played their next matchup, a 14-3 victory against Greenup County on the 15th.
