Basketball Recap: Germantown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Berlin/New Lebanon on Thursday, Germantown came back down to earth. The Clippers came up short against the Maple Hill Wildcats on Friday, falling 66-40. The Clippers have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Maple Hill, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Germantown will face off against rival Chatham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maple Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Taconic Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
