Basketball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Beats Okarche for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Amber-Pocasset had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They slipped by the Okarche Warriors 37-36. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 34-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Amber-Pocasset pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Okarche, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 16-6 record.
