Softball Recap: Pequot Lakes' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

Pequot Lakes dropped their record down to 6-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

As for Milaca, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-10 record. The match marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For Milaca's part, Cana Mach was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Pequot Lakes has already played their next game (against Wadena-Deer Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Milaca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-3 loss against Swanville on the 9th.
