Gavin Lockett Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Gavin Lockett produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pueblo West to the win on Saturday. Lockett rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 77 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.9). Those 292 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Lockett and Pueblo West will head out on the road to face off against Montrose at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
