Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lower Richland walked away with it. They strolled past the Bishop England Battling Bishops with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 54-37. Winning may never get old, but the Diamond Hornets sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.

Lower Richland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jhnai Sumter out in front who went 8-for-13 on her way to 17 points and five steals. Sumter has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chi'Nya Isaac, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Bishop England lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Olivia Allen, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lisse Van De Erve, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Lower Richland pushed their record up to 25-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.1 points. As for Bishop England, they moved to 23-4 with that defeat, which also ended their 15-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Lower Richland nor Bishop England have any future games scheduled.
