Volleyball Recap: Alcott Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Alcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westinghouse Warriors. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-15 in the first set.

Alcott started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Alcott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Westinghouse, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alcott will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clemente at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Westinghouse, they will take on Mather at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
