Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

The Edison Chargers didn't have quite enough to beat the Galion Tigers on Friday and fell 4-2. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Galion, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

When Edison and Galion next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Chargers will try to stop Keystone's seven-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Edison 2.6, the Wildcats 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Galion will challenge Findlay and their eight-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
