Baseball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Manchester hit Concord with a four-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Minutemen fell 6-2 to the Squires. The Minutemen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Squires apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Concord got a good showing from Myles Jones, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

Concord now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Manchester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Concord beat the Squires by a score of 14-9 later that day.
