Baseball Recap: Pilot Rock Comes Up Short

Pilot Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Irrigon Knights. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Pilot Rock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Holton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Pilot Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Irrigon, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

While Pilot Rock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
