Football Recap: Priceville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Priceville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were beaten by the Moody Blue Devils 60-14 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since November 1, 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bronson Carroll, who rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown.

Jake Lowery produced another solid effort throwing for 351 yards and three TDs while completing 84.2% of his passes for Moody. Lowery's passing game has become a key predictor of the Blue Devils' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kevin James, who rushed for 76 yards and one score on only five carries.

Priceville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Moody, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Priceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Moody, they will face off against Briarwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
