Football Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

Eldorado lost against Sports Leadership & Management back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eldorado Firehawks lost 39-14 to the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls. The Firehawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Eldorado saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aerith Sanchez rushed for 147 yards on only 12 carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Sanchez's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked her 14th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Eldorado has already played their next contest (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sports Leadership & Management will face off against Virgin Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Virgin Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
