Recap: Episcopal Maroon vs. Wakefield Warriors
On Saturday, it was a hard-fought contest, but Episcopal had to settle for a 38-36 defeat against Wakefield. Episcopal has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Episcopal's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Davian King, who scored 7 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Wilkes Brown, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wakefield, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Episcopal will be home for the holidays to greet Maret at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield will be home for the holidays to greet Alexandria City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
