League recap: Jenkins' hot bat leads Hannan

Freelance league recap: 5/22/13

Tyler Jenkins was on fire this week, as he led Freelance with a .704 average, two home runs and 31 RBIs. Hannan compiled a record of 0-0 in that time.

Logan outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its two total wins led the league. The Wildcats beat St. Albans 4-2.

Even after stealing 50 bases to lead the league over the past week, the Wildcats are still looking up at Grace Christian, which ranks No. 1 in steals, with 70 on the year.

Hannan scored a league-best 119 runs this week, adding to its league-leading 165 runs on the season.

Three batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Tyler Jenkins, who hit .704 by going 38-for-54.



The Wildcats' Jenkins finished his week with 38 hits, tops in the league. His 51 hits for the year are first in the league, and he boasts a .671 batting average.
