Baseball Recap: UIC College Prep Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, UIC College Prep was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the ITW David Speer Academy Pride, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pride this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 two weeks ago.

UIC College Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derlyn Rivera, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

UIC College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for ITW David Speer Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

UIC College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Noble Street College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for ITW David Speer Academy, they will challenge Holy Trinity at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
