Soccer Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Mills L-Cats. Monroe's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-2. As for Lake Mills, they pushed their record up to 12-5-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Monroe will square off against Cambridge at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Mills, they are taking a road trip to face off against Luther Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
