Basketball Game Preview: East Laurens Falcons vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

Two dominant guards in Rashund Washington Jr. and Xavier Burkes Jr. are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The East Laurens Falcons will welcome the Thomasville Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, East Laurens beat Bleckley County 60-55. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Thomasville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Jeff Davis on Friday, but they still walked away with a 66-61 victory.

Thomasville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for East Laurens, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.
