Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waelder). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Runge Yellowjackets 80-12. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 24-point performance the matchup before.

Waelder pushed their record up to 6-18 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Runge, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Waelder has already played their next contest (against Nordheim), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Runge will challenge Moulton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
