If Eagle Ridge Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Forge Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Eagle Ridge Academy fell 3-1 to Centaurus on Tuesday. Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Eagle Ridge Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Cole Crawford paced Eagle Ridge Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Crawford really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 16. Finally, he was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Eagle Ridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Centaurus, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Eagle Ridge Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mountain View on the 23rd. As for Centaurus, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Poudre at 6:30 p.m. The Impalas will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
