Recap: Bellaire Cardinals vs. Lamar Texans

In what's become a running theme this season, the Bellaire Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They really took it to Lamar for the full four quarters, racking up a 80-45 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Bellaire who now have four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bellaire to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sarah Gregory, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and two steals. Gregory has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Turner, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Lamar lost, one person who can't be blamed is Phoenix Sneed. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keaton Cravens, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.

Bellaire pushed their record up to 17-11 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Bellaire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lamar also has no future games currently scheduled.
