The Thales Academy Rolesville Knights will square off against the GRACE Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Thales Academy Rolesville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Evan Clark was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Clark was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Chase Davidson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Andy Moore was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask GRACE Christian). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Fayetteville Christian a 13-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.
Like Thales Academy Rolesville, GRACE Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Thomas Bradley. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Bradley was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Cooper Bachman and Landon Shiley did most of the damage at the plate: Bachman went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run, while Shiley scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Shiley has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Will Hamilton, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
GRACE Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive matches.
Thales Academy Rolesville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for GRACE Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
