Wilmington had won five straight games and Sami Liaromatis did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Wilmington Wildcats walked away with a 44-31 victory over the Beecher Bobcats thanks in part to Liaromatis, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (five).

Nikki Quigley was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 11 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.

Wilmington's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points per game. As for Beecher, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilmington will face off against Reed-Custer at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beecher, they will challenge Donovan/St. Anne at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
