Baseball Recap: Camdenton Comes Up Short

Camdenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lakers have suffered since April 11th.

Camdenton's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Pleasant Hill, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Camdenton beat the Roosters/Chicks by a score of 4-1 later that day.
