Softball Recap: Laurens Raiders vs. Whitmire Wolverines

After flying high against Abbeville last Tuesday, Laurens came back down to earth. The Laurens Raiders fell just short of the Whitmire Wolverines by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Carly Edwards made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
