Volleyball Recap: Coconut Creek Takes a Loss

Coconut Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Northeast Hurricanes. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

While Coconut Creek had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Coconut Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northeast, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Coconut Creek will square off against McArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
