After losing to Archbishop Hoban the last time they met, Firestone decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Firestone Falcons blew past the Archbishop Hoban Knights 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Firestone took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Calvin Cooper and Elijah Myers, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Tala Paing and his 21 assists. Myers was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Firestone's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Archbishop Hoban, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Firestone will welcome Garfield Heights at 5:00 p.m. on March 28th. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will venture away from home to face off against Walsh Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
