Basketball Game Preview: WF West Bearcats vs. Black Hills Wolves

WF West and Black Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The WF West Bearcats will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Black Hills Wolves at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, WF West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-31 to Tumwater. The match marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Black Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-41 victory over Shelton on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wolves have posted since December 30, 2023.

WF West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Black Hills, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

WF West strolled past Black Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 62-48. Does WF West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Black Hills turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
