Volleyball Recap: Kellenberg Memorial Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kellenberg Memorial waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Anthony's Friars. This was a revenge game for the Firebirds: when they faced off against the Friars last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Angela Bush paced Kellenberg Memorial's offense, picking up five kills. Bush got some help from Elizabeth O'Sullivan and her 12 assists. Julianna Lucie controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Kellenberg Memorial's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for St. Anthony's, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Kellenberg Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Half Hollow Hills West on the 11th. As for St. Anthony's, they will challenge St. John the Baptist at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
