Softball Preview: Greene County Rams vs. Roland-Story Norsemen
The Greene County Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Roland-Story Norsemen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Greene County can't be to happy about their upcoming road matchup against Roland-Story considering what happened when they opened their season on the road on Monday. Greene County lost 10-0 to Prairie City-Monroe.
Meanwhile, Roland-Story can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Perry as Roland-Story made off with a 13-7 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Roland-Story needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
Greene County beat Roland-Story 10-6 in their previous meeting back in June of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greene County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
