Football Game Preview: Lutheran South Lancers vs. Lutheran North Crusaders

Lutheran South hasn't had much luck against Lutheran North recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lancers are taking a road trip to face off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Lutheran South has given up an average of 30.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lutheran South is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 38 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Burroughs on Friday. They were dealt a 49-7 loss at the hands of the Bombers.

Meanwhile, Lutheran North got themselves on the board against Westminster Christian on Saturday, but Westminster Christian never followed suit. They blew past the Wildcats 22-0. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Lutheran North now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lutheran South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Lutheran South was taken down by Lutheran North 80-0 in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
