Sunnyside is 10-0 against Marana since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Sunnyside Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Marana Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Sunnyside's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Marana has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Sunnyside sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Tucson High Magnet School. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while the Badgers are ranked 82nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Marana came up short against Rincon/University on Thursday, falling 5-1.

Sunnyside is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 81 goals over those 15 games. As for Marana, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything went Sunnyside's way against Marana in their previous meeting on January 15th, as Sunnyside made off with a 9-0 victory. Does Sunnyside have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marana turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
