Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). They claimed a resounding 68-39 victory over the Hudson's Bay Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Beavers as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Woodland's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Hudson's Bay, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Woodland and Hudson's Bay could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Woodland (ranked 330th) will meet Columbia River (ranked 46th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hudson's Bay will challenge Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 223 places (340 vs. 117).
