Recap: Jackson vs. Eureka
Jackson earned some more postseason success in their contest on Friday. They strolled past Eureka with points to spare, taking the game 29-14. The win was familiar territory for the Fighting Indians, who are still undefeated after 12 games.
junior Cael Welker had a stellar game for Jackson as he rushed for 153 yards and two TDs on 27 carries. This was the first time Welker has racked up 100+ rushing yards all year. senior Seth Waters was in the mix, too, providing Jackson with two touchdowns.
Jackson will take on Staley in each of the teams' fourth playoff matchup next week. The stakes are high as both of those teams are all in, each fighting to extend its postseason success. Eureka's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
