Walnut hadn't done well against Alcorn Central recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Henlee Sisco and Molly-Kate Rolison, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Vivian Brown and her 11 assists. Rolison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Alcorn Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Maddi Marlar, who had seven digs and one assist.

Walnut's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Alcorn Central, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
