Soccer Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Albemarle lost against Gray Stone Day back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Knights, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, Albemarle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Gray Stone Day are ranked 169th).

Albemarle's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-9-1. As for Gray Stone Day, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-4.

Albemarle has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 victory against North Stanly on the 15th. As for Gray Stone Day, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against South Stanly on the 15th.
