Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Notre Dame blew Dexter out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Dexter got their revenge. The Notre Dame Bulldogs fell just short of the Dexter Bearcats by a score of 37-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since January 31st.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Dexter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dexter, they will welcome Potosi on Monday. Dexter is on a three-game streak of home wins, Potosi a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
