Volleyball Recap: Burlingame Beats Woodside for Their Third Straight Win

Burlingame had won two straight games and Sam Hollrah did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Woodside Wildcats with plenty of help from Hollrah, who had ten digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

One reason for the win was Burlingame's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-12.

Burlingame now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Woodside, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Burlingame didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Aragon on the 16th. As for Woodside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Half Moon Bay on the 16th.
