The Flint Southwestern Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Frankenmuth, falling 82-40. Flint Southwestern Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-20.

Frankenmuth's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan McNiel, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that McNiel posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Carson Knoll, who scored 14 points along with three steals.

Flint Southwestern Academy bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Frankenmuth, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4.

Beecher presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Flint Southwestern Academy in Michigan (Beecher is ranked 172nd, while Flint Southwestern Academy is ranked 623rd). As for Frankenmuth, they will be playing at home against Garber at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
