It was a good run, but Archer City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Sweetwater Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Archer City sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 25-17.

Archer City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Sweetwater, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Archer City will take on Jacksboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sweetwater, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Levelland on the 22nd.
