Softball Recap: Ozark Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ozark's offense. They came up short against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards on Thursday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Hillbillies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ozark's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Dardanelle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ozark is set to square off against their familiar foe Pottsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Dardanelle will challenge rival Mena at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
