There's no place like home for Boiling Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Chapman Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-0 win. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 49-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had no chance of recovering from.

Among those leading the charge was Josh Kahl, who threw for 191 yards and three TDs on only 17 passes. Those 191 passing yards gave him a new career-high.

Boiling Springs didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Djay Leak, Will Gibeck, Jamarcus Means, and Tyvion Hall picked up one apiece. Hall is crushing it when it comes to interceptions: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Gibeck got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Boiling Springs now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chapman, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Boiling Springs and Gaffney will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Chapman, they will square off against Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
