Soccer Recap: Greene County Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Greene County had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their defense stepped up to hand the Moss Point Tigers a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Greene County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Moss Point, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Greene County will venture away from home to square off against Purvis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Moss Point, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bay at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
