Pinewood had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against Eastside College Prep by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for Pinewood, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mailey Wang paced Pinewood's offense, picking up seven kills. Wang got some help from Caitlin Yamaguchi and her 12 assists. Yamaguchi also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelynn Wang, racking up two apiece.

Pinewood's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Eastside College Prep, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Pinewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against San Francisco Waldorf on the 6th. As for Eastside College Prep, they will take on Design Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
