Volleyball Recap: Lander Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lander Valley was the 3-2 winner over Mountain View when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffalos on Saturday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Mountain View got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Emma Linford out in front who had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Linford has posted over her last six games. Addyson Stephens also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lander Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lander Valley will square off against rival Lyman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to take on their familiar foe Pinedale at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
