Zade Taylor Game Report: vs Lindale

A big congratulations to Zade Taylor, who passed for at least 300 passing yards for the first time in his career. He threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt as Gilmer fell to Lindale 35-23. The performance beat out his previous best set last Friday, when he passed for 21 passing yards.

Looking ahead, Taylor and Gilmer will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brenham at 7:00 p.m. The Buckeyes got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cubs thanks in part to Taylor: he rushed for 64 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and one TD.
